BEING THE SPEECH DELIVERED AT THE SMART ACADEMY 2ND END OF THE SESSION CELEBRATION AND GRADUATION CEREMONY BY THE EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR OF THE SCHOOL, ALHAJI PRINCE OBADEYI LUQMON OMOTAYO!
Auzubillah Minashaitan Nirajeem, Bismillahir Rahmanir Raheem –
I seek refuge with Allaah from the accursed Shaitan and I begin in the name of Allah, the most beneficent, the most merciful.
May the peace and blessings of Allaah continue to be with our Noble Prophet Muhammed Rosululla (SAW), his companion and all the followers of the truth.
We remember our Father, Late Fhodilat Sheikh AbdulAhmed Aweda Olohungbemi Aiyeogbaro (R.A), the founder of Shamsu-Ud-Deen Al-Islamiy worldwide, may Allaah continue His blessings on him too.
Our authentic Khalifa Dr. Sheikh AbdulWaheed Badrudeen Adio Temitope (A.Ay), may Allah continue to increase him in knowledge and wisdom to continue moving Islam forward In Sha Allaah.
Today also, we remember our Pioneer Head of School (H.O.S.). Late Alhaja Abibat Olayemi Adeola Obadeyi for her great impacts and uncommon contributions to the growing of this school when she was alive. We truly missed her, and we pray Allaah SWT to be pleased with her and reward her with Aljannatul Firdaos In Sha Allaah

I welcome you all to this great occasion.
I count it a great privilege given to us by God to witness this occasion “THE 2ND SMART ACADEMY’S END OF THE SESSION CELEBRATION AND GRADUATION CEREMONY”, and I pray we witness this for more years to come. Amen
Let me take us back a little, when we started humbly with a handful of students, at our first-year academic session of 2021/2022, we closed with 36 students. This year academic session of 2022/2023, to the glory of God Almighty, we are closing with 74 students.
Alhamdulilahi for this greatness of 100% increments in our population and we hope for 200% increment in our population next year. Ameen.
Academically, we have accomplished so much within this short period of time, last session we talked about Junior WAEC and this year our students sat for Senior WAEC and they are already in the process of getting admission into the higher institution of their choice.
The school is doing greatly in the aspect of Arabic. Especially, those who do not have the knowledge of Qoidat as at the time they joined us but they can now recite Quran fluently.
I want to officially inform our parents that, we have already prepared students for Walimot-Li-Quran, both male and female, and our 1st Walimot will In Sha Allah take place before the end of next session.
May Allah grant us this great wish, Ameen.
In the area of ICT, our school website is now fully functioning, as we have seen Computer Generated Reports of our students over the last three to four terms. Our ICT Lab will soon be set up.
For now, we are confident to say, Smart Academy has all it takes fully to raise the next generation of trail blazers, and we have been doing so since our inception.
As human beings and as believers, we have not been neglecting our connection and closeness with God Almighty through prayer and fasting. Due to this, the school runs every Thursday's Fasting for the Pupils of upper basic and entire secondary school.
At the coming session, every Monday will be compulsory fasting while Thursday's will be optional. Suratul Khaf will be recited every Fridays.
This shows that, we are committed with our aim and mission to raise God-fearing future leaders with both Western and Islamic knowledge. We are also poised for more growth.
GRADUATION:
Today, we are here witnessing this graduation ceremony of our dear students. We have those graduating into Primary School, those into Junior Secondary School, and those into Senior Secondary School, and those who are graduating to pursue their next academic levels in their choice of higher institutions. It is really a great privilege for us all witnessing this.
Graduation is a significant milestone in the life of a student and their parents. It is a time to celebrate the achievements of the students and to look forward to the future.
I congratulate all our students for their personal successes. I wish our graduating class much success in their future learning and endeavours.
SMART ACADEMY is very proud of what they have achieved this year and overtime and we look forward to seeing them return as members of the Alum.
To our graduating students, let me also advice you that, you should;
Take time to reflect on your accomplishments and celebrate your successes.
Be proud of yourself and your achievements.
Remember that graduation is not the end but the beginning of a new chapter in your life.
Take time to thank those who have supported you throughout your academic journey.
Be open to new opportunities and challenges that come your way.
To our Seasoned Teachers and entire staff of Smart Academy, I can’t thank you enough for your great positive impacts on these students. I thank you all for your commitments in providing stimulating, challenging learning environments and opportunities throughout the year. I pray God to reward all of you abundantly.

I would like to thank all our parents for the faith and the trust they have in us. They believed our vision, and trusted that we are the right school for the proper academic training of their children. You shall continue to enjoy the fruits of your labour. Amen
I and all staff of Smart Academy are super grateful and promise that we would work harder for a better development of your children.
I want to also advice our parents to;
Be supportive of your child's good decisions and choices.
Encourage them to pursue their passions and interests.
Help them set realistic goals for their future.
Celebrate their achievements and let them know how proud you are of them.
Parents should also note that, their complaints and advice have all been taken into consideration and they are all appreciated. We promised to improve in one or two areas that the best is yet to achieve.
SCHOOL FEES:
70% of our parents did their best in the area of school fees, may Allah continue to strengthen them. Those that were unable to meet up, May Allah improve your businesses to be able to fulfill the obligation on your children. Ameen.
This great occasion is not yet completed without saying and sending our appreciations to Shamsu-Ud-Deen Al-Islamiy Mowe Zone’s members who have been supportive pillars to the growth of this school, the NEC – National Executive Committee Representative here present, Women's Wing,my Missioners,Zonal executive and most especially the educational committees.
Your spiritual and financial supports to this mission with your impactful volunteerism are highly appreciated. Jazakumullahu Khairan!
