Today, we are reminded of our commitment to the Earth.

Of the role we each play in protecting nature and the responsibility we share in safeguarding Nigeria’s rich biodiversity.

Because when we protect the Earth, it in turn, sustains us.

The Nigerian Conservation Foundation (NCF), with the Lekki Bird Club, invites you to a practical field education session focused on local avian biodiversity.

Our goal is to shift perspective from simply ‘looking’ at nature to actively observing it.

Join us as we explore the habitats of Victoria Garden City and learn how to identify various bird species.

There is a specific kind of focus that happens when you’re planting a tree.

A quiet, determined energy, As we approach Earth Day 2026 these images serve as a powerful reminder that the environment doesn’t just need our “awareness”.

In just a few days, the world will turn its collective gaze toward the soil, the sea, and the sky.

We’ll see the viral videos of reforestation and the high production montages of our planet’s natural wonders.

But as we approach this Earth Day, the real anticipation isn’t found in a single day of global fanfare; it’s found in the intervals.
