Getting your baby/toddler to sleep is ways a challenge for most parents. Their little body needs more rest than yours because it's growing and cells are rapidly forming. A child under 5 yrs old should be allowed to take a short nap(rest) for at least 45 min to 1 hr every day. Make sure it's not late in the day, as that will keep them from going to sleep at night.

Children do not come with impulse control. They have to be taught. A child will do the first thing that comes to his or her mind. Caution and Correct will help your child learn limits quickly. Not yelling or hitting.

Children need love, encouragement and patience to grow into health adults. Don't yell at a child. Correct what you don't like in their behavior. Let them know it's the behavior you don't like not the child.
