It’s the beginning of another beautiful term, and we are so excited to be back to school! We can’t wait to welcome all our friends with the warmest hugs and brightest smiles as we look forward to the wonderful experiences that await us in this final term of the session.

Happy Resumption!

Last term, our UE and Level 3 friends set out on an unforgettable French immersion journey to Cotonou, Benin Republic.

At Discovery House, we are proudly bilingual — English and French — and we believe language is best learned lived. So we stepped beyond the classroom and into real experiences.

For four enriching days, our friends were hosted by Oak School, where they learned alongside other children in a traditional classroom setting — and beautifully so. A reminder that Montessori learners are adaptable, confident, and able to thrive anywhere.

From exploring vibrant art markets, visiting cultural landmarks, and relaxing by the beach, to a peaceful Sunday at Notre Dame Church… every moment was filled with discovery, connection, and growth.

And yes — a special stop at Songhai Farms added even more depth to the experience.

This wasn’t just a trip; it was language in motion, culture up close, and memories that are still being shared till today.

At Discovery House, immersion doesn’t stop in the classroom… we live it !

Day 4 was MESSY DAY… and we absolutely LOVED it! 💛✨

It was the highlight of Wacky Week — a full-on splash of color, water, laughter, and pure childhood joy! 🎨💦🌊

We got messy.
We got colorful.
We got playful.

And somewhere between the splashes and squeals, we made the happiest memories. 😄

Because sometimes, the best learning (and the best fun) happens when you let go… and dive right in! 💛💦

Day 3
It’s AFRICAN LITERATURE DAY! ✨📚

Today, we travelled across Africa as our friends explored her richness — her bravery, her wisdom, her resilience — all beautifully captured in her bountiful literature. 🌍

From African authors and playwrights to poets, artists, and freedom fighters, we celebrated voices that have shaped culture through both oral traditions and written works. ✍🏾📖

Because African literature is identity. It is heritage. It is pride. ✨

And today, we read Africa boldly. 🌍📚

👑✨ YESTERDAY was Day 2 of Wacky Week: Regal African Costumes ✨👑

Our halls turned into a royal runway! 🌍💛 From majestic kings and queens to bold warriors and radiant cultural icons — our friends showed up in full regalia and we were OBSESSED! 😍

Every outfit told a story. Every smile carried pride. Every step was pure royalty. 👑✨

Africa is rich. Africa is powerful. Africa is beautiful — and yesterday, we wore it proudly.🌍

Learning, confidence, joy, and celebration — our Christmas Pageant had it all 🎄✨
Even weeks later, we’re still cherishing the beautiful moments, the effort of our friends, and the warmth of our community.
Here’s a look back at a truly special day.
