Whitesands School was honoured to welcome His Grace, Most Rev. (Dr.) Alfred Adewale Martins, Catholic Archbishop of the Metropolitan See of Lagos, for a special morning marking the dedication of our newly-constructed Marian Grotto, the “Veil of Grace.”

It was a memorable occasion for the entire school family, celebrating not just a new addition to our campus, but the spirit of unity and gratitude that continues to define Whitesands.

The best product of the Whitesands School Robotics Club is not the technology. It is the student who emerges from a process that integrates technical competence, character development, relationships, and real-world problem-solving.

Together, these experiences help our students develop agency and prepare them to contribute meaningfully to society.

Last term, some of our students completed their project, the RFID Voting System. It was designed as a way of addressing some of the challenges associated with voting in a democratic society.

We look forward to using it in the upcoming session during our Robotics Club elections and, eventually, in the wider school student leadership elections.
