ANNOUNCEMENT OF THE PASSING OF PROFESSOR ALBERT ALOS

With a heart full of gratitude to God for a life well lived, we announce the passing to glory of Professor Albert Alos, who went to be with the Lord after a brief illness. Prof. Alos would have celebrated his 87th birthday on the 17th of this month.

Prof. Alos was the Chairman of the Board of Trustees of IEF — owners of Whitesands School — at the time of its registration. A few years after Whitesands became operational, he also oversaw the running of the school as Chairman of the Board of Governors of the Whitesands Project.

Upon his retirement from LBS/PAU, he served as Chairman of the Executive Council of IEF. It was during this period that the Hillrange and Roseville projects in Enugu were initiated. He held this office until last year, when the chairmanship was handed over to Dr. Manuel Lorenzo David.

As we mourn the passing to glory of our beloved Prof. Alos, we ask for your prayers for the repose of his soul. May his soul, and the souls of all the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen.
