Oil pulling is an oral health routine that involves swishing oil around in the mouth in a similar way to mouthwash. It cleanses and pulls harmful toxins out of the body.
Coconut oil is a highly absorbable oil with several health benefits, including reducing inflammation and fighting harmful bacteria.
Benefits of oil pulling with coconut oil:

😁 Prevents Cavities.

😁 Whitens teeth.

Risk & Considerations.
Do not use Coconut oil if you are allergic to Coconuts. Otherwise, there are no known risks for oil pulling with coconut oil. Alternatives like Olive oil and sesame oil can be used.
How to do an oil pull:
Make sure you oil pull first thing after waking, before eating and drinking anything. Take a tablespoon of coconut oil and swish it around for 10 - 20 minutes. If you're trying it for the first time, you can swish for 5 - 10 minutes till you are used to swishing oil in your mouth. It is essential to swish continuously till time is up. Spit it out and Rinse your mouth out with water. Brush your teeth as normal. Do not swallow or gargle the oil. Repeat 3 - 5 times a week for best results.
Oil pulling does not replace brushing one's teeth, flossing, and other oral care techniques.
