Strategic thinking is a process of earnestly resolving an issue in your mind; meditating on God's word for direction and inspiration. Strength and speed can be gained through sitting quietly to engage in strategic thinking. Strategic thinking is the opposite of stinking thinking. Stinking thinking is the act of worrying which leads to depression, confusion, and frustration. It ultimately can lead to su***de or some terminal sicknesses which lead to gradual death. But Strategies are the ways to terminate tragedies in life. Worry is different from thinking.

There were spiritual men in the Bible who were successful strategic thinkers. Jacob is one of them. By the use of his mind, he transferred the wealth of Laban to himself via spiritual genetic engineering. He was a man of high mentality though he was a covenant (spiritual) man. Joseph interpreted Pharaoh's dream by the gift of God but went ahead to use his mind to calculate how to offer a solution to Egypt based on that dream. Those who apply mentality cannot be victims of satanic captivity.

*Strategic thinking brings answers to questions and solutions to problems.* Problems can partially or fully be solved via strategic thinking. People who fail to think are buried in the problems of life. They run from pillar to post instead of sitting down to think. The more you think, the more you can think. In the midst of that problem or challenge, you must think out the solution. *Strategic thinking brings inspiration.* Simply put, God speaks to those who think. Some people are seemingly mindless and mentally careless, with no time to reason out anything. Always in a hurry about every issue and most of the time meet a roadblock be

TOPIC : *STRATEGIC THINKING*

A man's mind plans his way, but the Lord directs his steps and makes them sure.
- Proverbs 16:9 ( AMP)

Strategy is a military term and has to do with skilfulness. Strategic thinking is the ability to coordinate thoughts productively and skillfully, resulting in increased output. As a Christian, strategic thinking is done by sitting down to reason with God. In the scripture, God Himself said " *come now and let us reason together.".* God is not only interested in your prayers, but He also wants you to reason out issues with Him for productive results. The word of God will be the guide to your thought process, decision-making, and conclusion.

The mind is crucial to life; it is the reasoning battery of the soul. That is why people with very dull minds are called 'fools'.People with sharpened or intelligent minds are termed 'wise'.People who have lost their minds are termed 'mad'. People who have mastery over their minds are called 'geniuses'. People born with defects in the mind are called imbeciles. The mind is so important to life. Great thinkers end up as outstanding successes; non-thinkers will become outstanding failures.

It is not enough to be spiritual, you must be a strategic thinker to really succeed and be fulfilled on earth. *Spirituality* is good but you need to add *strategic thinking* to produce *supernatural explosive* *progress.* *Spirituality* without *strategic thinking* will lead to *stupidity* and when stupidity continues for a long time, it will produce *stagnation* i.e. no visible progress. There are 6 things that can make an individual stupid and we know them from the acronym of ' *stupid* '.

*S* - Sleep too much

*T* - Talk too much

*U* - Useless i.e not walking in your area of strength.

*P* - Prayerlessness

*I* - Ignorant

*D* - Delay in action.

*May you be delivered from every and any form of stupidity.*

*You must be consistent with your actions*
Do not just be a starter but be a finisher. A starter does not get an award, but a finisher does. There are challenges ahead, but you must never quit. Quitters never win and winners never quit.
Keep pressing, keep moving. Even the slow tortoise entered the ark of Noah because he didn't stop moving.

Your action must be dynamic i.e led by the Spirit of God.
Learn to enquire from God in prayers before making a move or taking action. Let God lead you by His Spirit and you follow Him. If God is moving, you must not be static. You must move with the mover for your action to move others. Your last action in obedience to God opens the door for the next move. You can only get to your destiny through the connections of the several moves that were designed by God to bring you to your destination. Except God helps a man, no man can help him.

You must realize that there is no final parking anywhere i.e do not be too relaxed, always be on the move. Success is a journey and not a destination. Therefore you must always turn your finishing line into a starting point. Always keep something before you, i.e. what is the next thing, you are trying to achieve despite your previous failure or success. Refuse to be celebrated into stagnation.

Wisdom is truly the principal thing in life. Whatever is not done in wisdom,will certainly fall and fail.
Wisdom is profitable in directing and moving an individual from failure to success. Lack of wisdom is the primary problem behind the challenges many people face in life.

Let's look at the major wisdom keys for taking action.
*Your action must be timely*. There is time for everything i.e an appointed time. When you do the right thing at the right time, you get the right result. Time waits for no one, it's either you move with time or it moves without you. Avoid procrastination, go ahead and do what should be done at the right time. Life is time and time is life.

*Your action must be godly*. Motives must be right and based on the word of God. An ungodly move will turn you into a l***r spiritually. Remember the story of Gehazi in the Bible, who took an ungodly action motivated by greed, and he ended up becoming a l***r.
*Your action must be absolute*. There is a need for total commitment, no looking back. Give yourself to the new thing you are doing. Remember Lot's wife in the Bible , she was still looking back after the entire family left S***m and Gomorrah, and she became a pillar of salt. You must burn the bridge behind you and keep looking forward, not backward. Your Christianity must be absolute. Your service to God must be absolute. Upward and forward is your portion in life.

New Beginning requires human responsibilities. If you do nothing, nothing will happen. To enjoy a new beginning in any area of your life, you must be intentional in taking responsibilities. Having a sense of responsibility makes you better and not bitter.

Repentance is an ancient word but still relevant in today's world.Repentance is having a change of mindset, attitude, lifestyle.Repentance has to do with changing your mind to go in an opposite direction.Never be satisfied to keep going the wrong path,when you can make a turn in the right direction. *When you make a mistake, simply rethink and retake* .Do not mess up your life inside that pit of any mistake. Life is too important to live anyhow. It is your responsibility to repent and you will enjoy a refreshing new season.

Believe that your best days are ahead and you have begun the journey towards your brighter future. *What you sincerely believe, consistently confess and passionately work towards, will inevitably come to pass.* Your tomorrow is meant to be brighter than your yesterday. Believe God that He is leading you in the right direction. Believe in yourself and keep doing what you are meant to do on a daily basis. The journey of a thousand miles begins with a step. Never embrace discouragement even when it comes. Continue to encourage yourself in your God, obey Him and keep at what you are doing. If you can believe, you will see the glory of God.
