I have heard some Preschool owners and educators says " Aaaah if we set all this in the classroom or even the resource room, the children will spoil it"🤔

Come closer and see things you have to do

🎯Set clear rules and objectives: Has preschool educator have a rules guiding behaviour and activities in the classroom. Using simple and straight forward terminology to explain the class rule to kids is very important, let them understand the accepted act and those not accept

Use the first week for environment/ classroom tour and familarization

Take time to explain what are touchable and when not to touch, explain each center and what they are meant for.

🎯Establish a routine that the children can follow. A well planned and consistent routine ameliorate disruptive behavior.

🎯Give positive reinforcement for good behavior. When you praise the kids after positive and good act, it encourage them to continue with good intentions, they tend to do more of the act they where praise for.

🎯Manage activities transitions: Transitions between activities can be a difficult time for children. Give simple rules and warning for transitioning to a new activity, I.e when it is time for literacy we should be at literacy center not Understanding the world centre, we also have time to be at any of the centers has well, but our routine must be duly follow

This will help them prepare mentally and be less resistant to changes.

🎯To avoid boredom and disruptive Act Ensure that children are engaged in activities, activities most be children age based and learning level.

🎯 A good relationship with kids home will help in early intervention and support for kids that need extra help. Establish good communication with parents about their child’s progress and behavior in the classroom.

Try implementing these strategies and have the 3P a Peaceful, Positive and Productive Preschoool Classroom.

Keep routines simple and consistent so they feel safe and know what to expect.
