When preparation meets opportunity, success is inevitable ✨
Out of the blues, Coach — my mentor Ayodeji Megbope’s bestie of over 5 decades — messaged me to moderate the Conference at Oriental Hotel, Lagos.
She said, “I prayed about who should moderate, and the Holy Spirit brought you to mind.”
That humbled me deeply. Truly, the race isn’t to the swift nor the battle to the strong — time and chance still happen.
The event was power-packed with brilliant minds — Dr. Niyi Adesanya, Mr. Oluseye Olurotimi, , — plus reps from BOI and Wema Bank. Every session was pure gold! 💎
Huge love to the protocol team for their excellence and to my Northern sister, Sabrina Ozman, who owned the stage 👏🏽
Thank you, Coach MO, for the trust. I’m grateful, inspired, and ready for more ❤️

GREATEST AKOKITES! 💙💛
The world stood still as the UNILAG Alumni Association marked its 55th Anniversary Awards & Dinner at the Lantana Hall, Eko Hotel.
The crème de la crème of society gathered to celebrate greatness — from Chief Justice Kudirat Kekere-Ekun (GCON) to Chief Kessington Adebutu (Baba Ijebu) and other distinguished awardees.
I’m deeply honoured to have served as the Chairperson, Logistics & Protocol Subcommittee, and also as Co-MC for the night, a role I embraced with every ounce of Reggy Panache✨
Big thanks to our President Worldwide, Mr. Ifeoluwa Oyedele FNSE, FAEng, and the entire planning committee led by Mr. Olalekan Ajisafe. To my amazing co-host Michael Dimeji-Lamu, we did it!
Glory to God, iyanu sele gan! 🙌🏽
UNILAG remains not just a university, but a symbol of national pride. Here’s to more history-making moments! 💫

Rest in Power God's Gen
The Body of Christ in this country has lost one of her generals who had great foresight. Right from my days at Unilag in the 80s, the name Rev Dr. Uma Ukpai was continuously mentioned as one mightily used of God.
We thank God for his life and rejoice in the fact that he is in the bosom of our Lord Jesus Christ having faithfully served in His Vineyard.

Reflecting on my early days in television, I recall my first live broadcast on national TV, SuperScreen Television to be precise, formerly ClapperBoard, an unforgettable experience that taught me the importance of preparation and composure.
My news editor then, Ijeoma Daramola, and manager, Funke Ali, both late, but whose impact on my career remains, drilled into me the significance of maintaining eye contact, self-control, speed, and delivery.
The stakes were high that day, and my family was aware of the significance , as we were launching a new program called "World Business", aimed at setting a new standard in broadcasting( more like real competition against known TV stations).
I remember walking into the studio, confident in my attire, but internally battling nerves.
The pressure was palpable, knowing my overall boss was watching from home, and any mistake would have significant consequences.
In those days, the mantra was "you are as good as your last bulletin," emphasizing the importance of consistently delivering high-quality performances.
We worked tirelessly to ensure accuracy, particularly with Nigerian names, and relied heavily on resources like the Daniel Jones English Pronouncing Dictionary for guidance on enunciation.
What strikes me now is how those experiences have shaped my confidence on stage.
Recently, while hosting the Global Mentorship Bridge Summit, I noticed a significant difference in my level of composure compared to my early days.
Despite having the script for the first time that very day, I felt assured, and my confidence shone through.
This experience reinforces the idea that practice builds confidence, and confidence, in turn, fosters trust with the audience.
Although I encountered a few minor slips during the delivery, my extensive experience and preparation allowed me to navigate them smoothly.
It's a testament to the importance of mastering one's craft – no matter the break, the skills remain, and with a bit of time to warm up, one can deliver effectively.
