Trust you've all been doing great?
Let's talk about Silent letters today. Particularly Silent letter "t"
Did you know that the letter "t" is silent when pronouncing these words?
I understand that it's super confusing but there actually is a reason why we don't say the ''t" in some English words, especially those with the "t" in the middle of the word.
You see, the "t" in these words is an acoustically "explosive" one and to sound it after an equally explosive consonant, both of which expends "considerable breath"_ is especially difficult so the "t" sound is assimilated into it's surrounding and becomes silent.
So there you have it guys..Say these words without the "t" and you're good to go.
