The Nigerian Universities Journals, is an e-library repository devoted to promoting intellectual works from Nigerian universities. The repository would hold works from across all disciplines in all universities throughout the country in their various forms - University Journals, Faculty Journals, Departmental Journals, Individual Academic Papers, Books; Research Works, Inaugural Lectures, Student
's Terminal Projects, Dissertations, and Thesis, etc. Presently, Nigerian academic and research works that should be making valuable contributions to the global body of knowledge are not getting due attention as they are filed away on the bookshelves of the authors and institutional libraries. This is so because the knowledge world has moved further ahead. nujournals.com presents a veritable platform, a one-stop shop that will project thoughts of our intellectuals to a global audience where they can attract long due attention and compete favourably with their colleagues all over the world. This is intended to promote healthy rivalry among our institutions in the quality and quantity of their output. It will also provide round the clock access to materials for student and researchers in the various disciplines from across universities throughout the country. This will be invaluable during the preparation of term papers, projects and thesis. Significantly, contributors will for once be able to earn additional income from the use of their works to be determined by the patronage such works attract. Finally, we are in partnership with Global eJournal Library and World Public Library with a combined repertoire of 9 million academic materials! We believe this initiative will serve as motivation that would further expand the Nigerian academic frontier.
