[22] But what happens when we live God's way? He brings gifts into our lives, much the same way that fruit appears in an orchard-things like affection for others, exuberance about life, serenity. We develop a willingness to stick with things, a sense of compassion in the heart, and a conviction that a basic holiness permeates things and people. We find ourselves involved in loyal commitments, not needing to force our way in life, able to marshal and direct our energies wisely.
[23] Legalism is helpless in bringing this about; it only gets in the way. Among those who belong to Christ, everything connected with getting our own way and mindlessly responding to what everyone else calls necessities is killed off for good-crucified.

Let the beauty of Jesus be seen in me

1. *Beauty* is not a guarantee to marriage

2. *Falling Sick* does not mean you are about to die.

3. *Getting rich* is not the definition of prosperity.

4 *Building a nice house* is not enjoying luxury.

5. *Sleeping on an expensive bed* does not bring you sound sleep.

6. *Driving a new car* is not a guarantee that you gonna reach where you going.

7. *Wearing expensive clothes* does not guarantee smartness.

8. *Having a family doctor* does not guarantee permanent health.

9. *Being highly educated* is not a sign of wisdom.

10. *Marrying a rich guy* does not guarantee happy marriage.

11. *Winning an argument* does not mean that you were correct.

12. *Whatever is done without the merit of Heaven* is fake and temporal.

13 *He who builds without God* is building for nothing; & he who *watches over a city* without God, watches in vain.

14. *Not everything is possible with man but everything is possible with God.*

15 *Be wise and learn to Involve God* in everything you do.

⭕ _*If you keep your problems in your Bed, you may have nightmares.*_

⭕ _If you take your problems to *School*, you will surely fail._

⭕ _*If you take your problems to Satan, it will become worst than before.*_

Finishing strong in ministry (4)

‘Appoint elders [church leaders] in every city.’
Titus 1:5 NKJV

The fourth issue you find among church leaders who leave the ministry is this: they teach others how to build strong families without necessarily knowing how to build one themselves. Or they’re not willing to pay the price to do it and eventually it becomes a problem.

The greatest sermon you’ll ever preach is at home! Church leaders’ wives can slip into despair and depression because they feel like the ministry robs them of all their husband’s time and attention. Their neglected children get tired of hearing, ‘I’m doing this for the Lord,’ so they rebel against God and the church, and act out in ways that embarrass the parent who has no time for them. Your wife and children should always be able to reach you. If the church takes up seven days out of your week, it’s not the church’s fault – it’s yours!

You need to start making changes! And if you think this is a phenomenon of living in the 21st century, think again.

Read the stories of leaders like David and Samuel, and you discover it’s possible to succeed on the job, yet fail miserably on the home front. Too many preachers value the approval of their peers more than the love and respect of their families. Bear in mind that you won’t always be the church leader, but you will always be the husband of your wife and the father of your children. So be there when they need you – and they’ll be there when you need them.
