2. He loved, read and practiced the always📖
It is on record that his mother, 'Nancy Lincoln "learned" her son "to read the Bible". She could not read write, not even her name, but she probably told Abraham the stories.'
Though he never belonged to any church denomination, friends who knew him testified that he read the Bible often.

But much more than reading the Bible, he believed & practiced it's teaching and one of the beliefs that was formed in him via scriptural reading was that God never created any human being to become a slave to another. And this he spent most of his life and career fighting for.

Many Years later it was on record that (one time President of USA) read the same Bible that Abraham Lincoln read.

3. He believed and practiced -education.💡

He literally taught himself to read.

"noticed , that her stepson was exceptional. Her reminiscences of him as a boy were both observant and admiring. “He didn’t like physical labor—was diligent for knowledge—wished to know, and if pains and labor would get it he was sure to get it.” He learned by listening: “When old folks were at our house,” he was “silent and attentive . . . never speaking or asking questions till they were gone, and then he must understand everything, even to the smallest thing, minutely and exactly. He
would then repeat it over to himself again and again, sometimes in one form and then in another, and when it was fixed in his mind to suit him he became easy.” He learned, most of all, by reading. “Abe read all the books he could lay his hands on, and when he came across a passage that struck him he would write it down on boards if he had no paper and keep it there till he did get paper. Then he would re-write it, look at it, repeat it.”

👌Today, 12th of February 2021 would have been Abraham Lincoln 212th birthday if he was alive physically.

👌He was America's 16th President and arguably so far.

🏇His life's vision,mission and passion of seeing a country free from slavery will forever be remembered.

🗣️His speeches, stories and jokes will be fondly remembered.

📕 : by ! and I have drawn out 12 lessons and principles that took Abe from his little beginning at Little Kentucky to the Whitehouse at Washington DC. I feel every youth,that desires greatness, should learn and practice them.

Abe, as he was sometimes fondly called, spent his first 21 years(1809-1830) with his father,Thomas Lincoln, mother(though briefly cos she died when he was only 9 years old) and Sister.
Here he learnt the value of (by helping out in his father's field, so hardworking was he,that his neighbours who he sometimes work for to earn some little wages, admired him) and learnt

Brief History
G-LeN was officially launched on March 15th 2017 as a Leadership Training Course at Golden Foundation International College(GFIC), Afromedia,Lagos by the CEO/ADMIN of GFIC,Mrs Joy Ogbonnaya alongside the management staff of the organization.

Since then it has grown to becoming not just a course for students but a brand for all who seek to unleash their leadership potential!
