Well IJMB also know as interim joint matriculation board is actually not a new pre-university programme, it has however been running since 1976 and founded by ABU (Ahmadu Bello University) Zaria. I just want to use this medium to make things very very clear to some students or people who think IJMB is a SCAM and then paint it black and this is common with most easterners and southerners because IJMB is not common over there but thank God we do have series of study centres over there now although IJMB is common in the northern and eastern part of Nigeria.
Lastly, as result of IJMB millions of students are currently in school including myself David Tekobo and lots of students have also graduated successfully through the help of IJMB.

Are you still waiting for your child to write the 2017 JAMB examination and the result released before you take final decision on whether or not the child should enrol for IJMB ADVANCED LEVEL PROGRAM? That waiting could cost your child another one (1) year of staying at home.

DANGER:
IJMB lectures will commence on Monday, March 13, 2017 and run through to January 2018. By the time this year universities admission are concluded through JAMB, it would likely be in August/September 2017. By that time, if your child is unable to gain admission into a university through JAMB and you decide to enrol him/her for the IJMB Advanced Level Program, it would have been 5 to 6 months into IJMB lectures. That makes such students who came in late to struggle through the remaining 4 to 5 months of the conclusion of the IJMB 2017/2018 academic calendar year. A whole IJMB semester would have been lost to your indecision.

Also, be reminded, it is not all the students that score above 200 marks in the JAMB examination that gain admission to the universities as the official statistics below shows:

2010 to 2016 = 11,703,709 students sat for JAMB (UTME)

2,674,485 out of the total of 11,703,709 were admitted to the different universities.

A total of 9,029,224 JAMB applicants could NOT secure admission to any university (Federal, State and Private) in Nigeria between the year 2010 to 2016.

Some of them keep on writing JAMB without success every year. Admission rate for the years between 2010 to 2016 stood at between 24% to 30%. ARE YOU GOING TO GAMBLE WITH YOUR CHILD'S FUTURE BY RELYING SOLELY ON THE FORTHCOMING JAMB UTME?

SOLUTION:
Enrol him/her now and let the child resume for lectures. All you need to do is to pay N60,000-N70,000 on resumption out of the total of N155,000. If the child is eventually admitted to 100 level in the university through JAMB by August/September this year, it would make him/her to do well in his 100 level in the university since IJMB syllabus is strictly same as 100 level syllabus in Nigeria universities. Thus, the 5 to 6 months IJMB lectures he/she may have received would not be in vain, but rather advantageous to his/her performance in the university 100 level subjects.

And for those students who may not make it into a university through JAMB this August/September 2017, they would have lost nothing. They will just pay the balance in installments and continue with the IJMB Advanced level program. The beauty of it is that by next year August/September 2018, they will catch up with those who may make it this year to university's 100 level through JAMB. By next year 2018, they will both be in 200 level in the universities.
