The Institute is all embracing in security matters and Justice Administration. However, the coming of this Institute is timely considering the reform agenda of the Federal Republic of Nigeria which have infiltrated in reforming and restructuring the Nigerian Police Force and other arms of the Armed Forces, including Prison administration.

You are specially welcome to Institute of Criminal Justice and Criminology Administration (ICJCA). The Institute was established in 2012 and incorporated under Act 1990.

We specialize in training students and staff so as to provide high level man power, relevant to needs of both public and private sector bureaucracies.

ICJCA acquaint members with in-depth understanding of the principle, theory and practice of criminal justice and criminology and to provide the total man who is sound in mind and body, in knowledge, maturity and integrity for change.

The Institute organizes regular workshops, conferences and seminar under Education and Training Scheme(ETS). The general aim is to constantly update the professional skills of Criminal Justices and Criminology Administrators in the light of new knowledge and latest technological development as its applies to practice and techniques.
Membership can be gained only by passing the Institute’s Professional Qualifying Examination.

 ASSOCIATE (AICJC): To be an associate member, an applicant must be at least 21 years of age and have had not less than three years relevant professional working experience.

 MEMBER (MICJC): An intending member must be at least 25 years of age and have had not less than 7 years relevant professional working experience, three of which must be in a senior appointment. Each applicant must provide evidence of the required period of practical experience as stated.

 FELLOW (FICJC): Fellowship is the highest grade of membership. Most applicant will have been Associate and Member for a time before applying for this grade but it has exception. A successful applicant must be at least thirty years of age and have had not less than ten years relevant professional working experience, three of which must be in a senior executive cadre or administrative appointment in a substantial organization
