It’s 2026 and we honestly need to do better…The structure of messaging is typically Salutation, Body and Conclusion. When you just go into people’s DMs typing “Hi”, “Sup”, “Gud am”, you will be perceived as someone who is unserious and unprofessional. Also, you don’t want to leave a ‘one- line’ message and then wait for the recipient to continue the conversation by asking “How may I help you today?”; when in fact you initiated the conversation. People are busy, make life easy for everyone 🤗
