2022 CULTURAL DAY - A COLOURFUL CELEBRATION OF DANCE & FOOD

Yesterday, February 17, Higher Ground Schools, Ilu-Oloye held its annual Cultural day.

The event involved students, parents, staff and the wider community coming together to share food and performances from many of the ethnic groups which make up the Higher Ground Schools Community.

Our annual Cultural Day was eagerly anticipated and after much effort preparing performances and food from around the country our students revelled in the opportunity to celebrate their cultural identities.

With so many photos and videos capturing the colour and spirit of the occasion it was difficult to choose which ones to use here, but the following hopefully do justice to the talents and enthusiasm of the performers. The venues were packed needless to say! !

On September 14th, 2015, Higher Ground Schools was founded and Our vision remains as true as it did 6 years ago.

For the past 6 years we have helped students harness their energies, motivation and desire to learn by helping them build upon their diverse strength.
