TAKE-HOME POINTS FROM TODAY’S TALK..
1. Your decision to wait for the right time does so much for you than to rush in and end up in regrets
2. Know your worth. Do not lower yourself to the extent that you’ll be taken for granted. Do not be easily influenced or intimidated by peers
3. Unwanted pregnancy could lead to a halt in your future.
4. Engaging in sexual activities with an unsafe partner could lead to health-threatening diseases. Abstinence is key!!!
5. What you see/watch influences your thoughts and actions. Take heed!
Question: When do think is then the right time?
Answer : When you’re capable enough to make decisions,control your thoughts and take responsibilities for your actions.
6- Have a guardian you can talk to about these things.
7- Parents can only guide you; you make the final decision.(Like the saying; “you can only take a horse to the river,you can’t force it to drink water”
8- Spend more time with God
8- Infatuation doesn’t count as love. It is short term.
Note that there is time for everything but for now,read your books, be careful of what you watch, apply for scholarships, plan to be a better version of you at this stage where you are.
