BE AN INFLUENCE

This is Zainab Raji. Another product of EPS SCHOOLS.

She started from Nursery class and ended up in basic 6.

She continued to the junior secondary school and finished 2 years ago after her senior WAEC.

Just before she finished her senior secondary school her parent asked to learn a vocation in the neighborhood.

While still learning she attempted the last JAMB and Passed beautifully.

One morning I and the father meet along the street and as it is my way of asking any of my ex- pupil and Parents what are you doing now.

The father told me some of the challenges they were facing in terms of getting her into the higher institution.

I stepped into it hence my slogan "...once my pupil always my pupil...."
I asked her a few question and she replied.

Her parents were afraid about how to get fund for her education. But I encouraged the dad that it's not a problem and he summed up courage.

She wanted to read Mass com. I contacted one or two friends @ IRE POLY. And she was given admission.

I woke up this morning and saw this picture on my WhatsApp from the father.

I am so glad to see her in this academic gown. This happened because I did not look away.

I asked a question which made me know they were having challenges with the admission process.

As educators let's endeavour to CONTACT, CALL, COUNSEL and CONVINCE our ex- pupil or students about their career because many of them may be confused.
