Looking Good is good business
I grew up in Surulere, Lagos, as the fourth child out of eight. Life was very hard. My father lost his job twice, and we had to move to Egbeda to survive. My mother was a school teacher, but that wasn’t enough. She also sold goods just to keep us going.
I used to help her hustle, carry things, run errands, do whatever we could to make ends meet. At 17, I got pregnant and had to leave school. That was one of the hardest moments of my life. I felt pain, shame, and fear, but deep inside, I told myself this cannot be the end of my story.
At 19, I got my first acting role in Most Wanted, and later I starred in Mortal Inheritance, which changed everything. By the early 2000s, I was winning awards, and in 2001, I became the first actress to receive the City People Best Actress award.
In 2018, I directed Lionheart, the first Nigerian film on Netflix. I haven’t forgotten where I came from. I support girls’ education and small businesses, because if a teenage mother from Egbeda can rise, then others can too.

Many people express a desire to start their own business but are often afraid of failing due to several reasons:
Which one is your reason ? 👇
1. Risk of Financial Loss: Starting a business often involves financial investment, and the fear of losing money can be a significant deterrent. Many worry about the economic implications of failure, such as debt or loss of savings.
2. Fear of Uncertainty: The unpredictability of entrepreneurship can be daunting. Many people fear not knowing whether their business will succeed or how they will navigate challenges.
3. Self-Doubt: Individuals may question their skills, knowledge, or abilities to run a business successfully. This lack of confidence can lead to a fear of failure.
4. Social Pressure: Concerns about how others perceive failure can be a strong influence. Many fear judgment from family, friends, or the community if their business does not succeed.
5. Previous Negative Experiences: Past failures in business or other endeavors can create a fear of repeat failure. Negative experiences can linger in people’s minds and discourage them from trying again.
6. Comparison to Others: People often compare their potential success to others who have succeeded, which can amplify feelings of inadequacy and fear of failure.
7. Emotional Investment: Starting a business often requires a personal investment of time and passion. The thought of failing can feel like a personal failure, leading to emotional distress.
8. Complexity of Starting a Business: The perceived complexity and the many steps involved in starting a business can overwhelm prospective entrepreneurs, resulting in fear of making mistakes along the way.
Despite these fears, many people also find ways to overcome their concerns by seeking education, building a support network, and developing a well-thought-out business plan. 😁 and that's why the fab supermodel conference tagged THE BOBS CONFERENCE (The Business Of Being social conference) The Platform brings entreprenuers from every walk of life while FACE of African Business brings successful models from all walks of life to mentor younger models.

Dear models and upcoming models.
How do you want to get brands or individuals to sponsor, support or partner with you, wen you are not ready to work, you see opportunity and you not ready.
you don't want to leave your comfort zone.
My dear modelling is not for the weak, modelling is those that know what they want, people who make use of every slightest opportunity that come their way.
People who doesn't let other people discourage them.
Make sure you always take care of your physical appearance, your skin and don't be quick to tag people scam wen you don't have any evidence against them.. so many young ladies are good at spoiling people brand and name for their selfish ego.
Good luck in your career.
