Ifesowapo/aboru Senior Secondary School

Ifesowapo-Aboru Senior Secondary School, Aboru, has emerged as the Overall Best School in the just-concluded Y2025 Essay Writing Competition involving schools across the six Educational Districts of Lagos State.

The Overall Best Student, Miss Abdul-Yekini Amirat Ayoola, was formally presented with her award by the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Basic Education, Mrs. Adegbite Dokunmu, at the ceremony held on Tuesday, 2nd December 2025, at the Education Resource Centre, Ojodu Berger.

Subsequently, on Friday, 5th December 2025, the award-winning student, accompanied by the school management team, paid a courtesy visit to our indefatigable Tutor-General/Permanent Secretary, Dr. Oyetola Olufunke Idowu, to present the trophy in recognition of her invaluable support before, during, and after the competition
