life is q***r with it's twists and turns,
as every one of us sometimes learns.
when your luck is down and your world goes wrong,
when life is all uphill and the road is long.
keep your spirit high for through thick and thin,
you must carry on if you're to win.
Often the goal is nearer than it seems,
to a faint and faltering man.
Often the struggler has given up,
when he might have captured the victors cup,
and he learned too late, when the night came down:how close he was to the golden crown.
Many have turned about,
when they might have won and stuck it out.
Don't give up, though the pace seems slow,
You may succeed with another blow.
When things go wrong,as they sometimes will,
when the road you are trudging seems all uphill.
When the funds are low and the debts are high,
and you want to smile but you have to sigh.
When care is pressing you down a bit,
rest if you must, but dont quit.
You never can tell how close you are,
it may be near when it seems afar.
Stick to the fight when you are hardest hit,
it's when things seem worst that you must not quit.
Never mind if things hold you back a bit,
you will come out on top, but you must not quit...................adjovi omole

Lesson to learn:
Being angry at someone hurts only you. Let go of your anger, not for the other person, but for yourself. Remember, forgiving doesn’t mean forgetting. Forgiving means accepting that it happened.

Success is failure turned inside out.........

........... COMRADES..........
I signed up to the military.
Left everything behind,
My family, my kids, my friends.
Went through hard training.

Trouble within the country.
Comrades where prepared for war.
On the way, thoughts of what you left behind, running through your mind.
Thoughts on the fact that you may return and may not.

On the way, boom! We where hit by an RPG.
It's an ambush, a trap.
Bullets flying around..
Bombs exploding..

We had each others back.
The comrade beside me was hit, straight in the head.
His marriage was just few months ahead.
"I must live " I said to myself.

We where running out of ammunition.
The enemies pushed us back.
We must stand our ground.
Click click click! I was out of ammo.
The young lad beside me was too young to die.
Frightened, I told him to hide.

The Comrades left, gathered to make a last stand.
Boom! We where hit by a gr***de,
All Comrades gone.
I was still dazed by the hit,
Before I could stand, I was surrounded by enemies.
I was asked about the last Comrade(the young lad ),
I could see him where he was hiding, frightened, but one of us must return,
Others must be warned about the possibility of a mole amongst we Comrades.

They asked about the lad for the last time,
I kept quiet, knowing it was over for me.
My heart was heavy for the pain I would cause my wife, my kids, my friends.
I have tried my best as a comrade.
An hero dying in battle

Their leader pulled the trigger, I blacked out.
I fell to the ground my eyes filled with tears.
My life flashed before my eyes.
Nothing hurt me more than this thought,

Some heroes have died and will die with no one, absolutely no one to tell their story.
Gone into forever, never to be remembered.................................................
