The end goal when teaching violin students is to enable them achieve a beautiful tone in their playing. This is part of the benefits of a good posture.

The Suzuki method employs several exercises that help achieve this. A wide range of exercises can be done for children of various ages with the aim of improving their playing posture and ultimately to achieve the final goal of a beautiful tone.
