4. Decide on the Course You Want to Study

Now is the ideal time to thoughtfully choose the course you want to pursue. Avoid last-minute decisions and instead, select a course that aligns with your passion and academic strengths. Consider having a second-choice course in mind to increase your admission chances.
5. Choose the School You Want to Apply to

Before registration begins, decide which schools you intend to apply to. Consider factors like:

- Whether the institution offers your desired course
- Admission requirements
- School fees
- Location

For a higher chance of success, consider having backup options ( Polytechnics/Monotechnics or College of Education/College of Nursing). You'll need to include these while filling out your JAMB registration form.
6. Know Your Subject Combination

Each course has specific subject requirements for admission. Ensure you select the correct subject combination for your chosen course and institution. Many students mistakenly choose the wrong subjects, jeopardizing their admission chances. Verify the correct subject combination using the JAMB Brochure before registration begins.
7. Seeking Guidance
Uncertain about your course, institution or subject combination? Don't hesitate to seek guidance. For admission advice, contact us at 08066241352 or reach out to our admission experts on this platform.
Once UTME registration begins, we'll provide detailed, step-by-step instructions for a seamless registration process. Stay tuned and keep preparing

Before 2025 JAMB Registration Begins: 7 Essential Preparations
1. Get Your National Identification Number (NIN)

The NIN is now mandatory for UTME/DE registration. We strongly recommend obtaining yours as soon as possible if you don't have it yet.
2. Ensure You Have a Registered Phone Number for Profile Code Creation

Before registering, you'll need to generate a profile code by sending your NIN via a registered phone number to JAMB's shortcode. Ensure you have a valid, registered phone number (preferably MTN) for this process. Note that all future SMS updates from JAMB will be sent to this number, so use your personal number.
3. Set Up a Free Email Address

Your email address will serve as a backup for your JAMB profile. Providing an email address is mandatory during registration. Fortunately, setting up an email account is quick, free, and easy. We recommend using Gmail ((link unavailable)) for simplicity.
