iRead Network is an educational and library service provider with a mission to empower and equip children with access to quality books, educational resources and engaging literacy programs. The Mobile library (trucks & vans) take books and resource materials to children at their doorstep, school or community. It is a privately owned service provider that was supported and monitored by the Federal Government of Nigeria’s YouWin Programme as a rebranding strategy for the nation. iRead has a mandate to reform the reading culture in order to attain educational excellence, skills development and innovation which are the launching pads for lifelong learning. iRead Mobile also operates a Bookshop for students between ages 3 years and 19 years. iRead Mobile is equally a one-stop reading centre stationed at strategic private and public places like parks and bus stations. With our list of books which is a wide-range of collections cut across all ages, whether in audio or print format, our customers shall benefit not only under our 'convenience scheme' i.e. the delivery of and retrieval of borrowed books at the stipulated time, but also be able to walk-in and read at our various service points. Membership is based on annual subscription while very minimal monthly/termly charges apply for borrowing by registered members. iRead Network's initiatives include;
