We are thrilled to celebrate our very own Ojewumi Yetunde, who emerged as the 1st Place Winner of the 2024 Lagos State ANCOPSS Essay Writing Challenge!

This prestigious and keenly contested competition saw Yetunde excel through the zonal, district, and finally the state levels, showcasing her brilliance, determination, and passion for excellence.

At the 37th Annual Congress of the All Nigeria Confederation of Principals of Secondary Schools (ANCOPSS), Lagos State Branch, held on 12th November 2024, the Honourable Commissioner for Basic and Secondary Education, Mr. Jamiu Tolani Alli-Balogun, presented the award to Ojewumi Yetunde. He commended her outstanding performance and applauded our school’s exceptional commitment to excellence in achieving this prestigious honor for an unprecedented third consecutive year!

I'm thrilled to announce that our remarkable students have once again brought pride to Eva Adelaja Girls' Senior Secondary School and Education District II! On Thursday, 14th November 2024, they were celebrated by the Office of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), Lagos State, for their outstanding achievements in the Lagos State Debate and Essay Competitions on the 17 SDGs.

- **Adedokun Idunnu** emerged as the *winner* of the essay competition, surpassing participants from other districts and receiving a cash award of ₦200,000.
- *Adeniran Favour* and *Odujebe Eniola*, our dynamic debate duo, distinguished themselves as *first runners-up* in the inter-district debate, earning a cash prize of ₦150,000 each.

These achievements are a testament to their hard work and the exceptional guidance of their teacher and trainer, *Mr. Atilola Oluwaseun Joseph*.
