The day started like every big day does. Early morning energy. Final checks. Quiet confidence. And a bus filled with students carrying strategy, focus, and belief.

The journey started from school with excitement in the air and minds already focused on the task ahead. From leaving the school gates to arriving at the championship venue, our team knew the mission.

At the venue, it was game time. Eyes on the board. Strategies unfolding and teammates encouraging one another between rounds.

Hours later, after competing against over 100 schools, Platform Schools stood tall once again as champions of the Ecobank National Schools’ Team Chess Championship 2026. 🥇

Then came the trophy.
The medals.
The ₦2.5 million prize presentation.
And the proud smiles on the faces of students who gave it their all.

Returning to school as champions again? That moment was special.
