It doesn't matter if they're a global authority in forecasting the future, they can be so sure that so and so in such and such place will never be able to rise above whatever. But when love shows up, all their 'global authority' will be discarded like the counsel of Ahithophel.
I don't care how many PhDs they have, they can hit you with a diagnosis and be 💯 sure that you can't make it. But when the love of God shows up, all their PhDs will become child's play.

What has knowledge told you that you can't have, or get to, or overcome? That knowledge is about to become antiquated because of the love of God for you. You will see yourself as God sees you and believe. All things are yours! You have overcome them! You are whole!

Real warfare is fought in the mind.

How is that?

As a man thinketh, so is he. Out of the heart comes the realities of a man's life. So, whatever a person is convinced he or she is in their mind, that becomes the experience that person will advance towards and have. The mind rules the body. The person will talk that talk, will that will, expect that outcome, act that persuasion, tolerate and allow that reality.

So, the real battle of life is fought in the battlefield of your mind. The dominating thoughts in your mind will produce experience after itself for you. This is why scripture says to "guard your heart with all diligence for out of it comes the issues of life."

And what is the weapon of warfare!

They are not carnal! They are mighty through God! They pull down the strongholds of lies that don't line up with who and what God is for us. We use this weapon to cast down every imagination(notice it has to do with the mind) that deviates from the God-image, and tries to take over the seat of God in the sanctuary of our heart.

The sword of the Spirit, which is the spoken word of God is our offensive weapon against the enemy. Nothing, and I repeat NOTHING defeats negative thoughts and takes over your mind faster and effectively as "the word of God you say in that very moment with your mouth." All the temptation of Satan Jesus met and overcame them with the spoken word of God. What you begin to say will flood your mind and wash away the other thoughts.

And that brings me to a very important point; any word you cannot do battle with against the enemy is NOT the gospel, no matter who or where it was preached or prophesied. You cannot do battle with moral instruction. An addiction is trying to continue its rule over you and all you have is moral instruction and words of condemnation and sermons talking about sin this and sin that. In such a situation, what will you fight with, what word will you fight with?! None!

I tell you the truth, these are the kind of words you can fight with;

"I am the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus!"
"I am Holy just as God is holy!"
"I am a new creation, old things have passed away, all things have become new!"
"Sin no longer has dominion over me!"
"What held me captive in the past is now under my feet!"

That is gospel! It is the finished works of Christ. It is declaring unto God's creation who and what God is for them. It is the power of God that brings us over into and maintains us in the reality of God.

“This charge I commit to you, son Timothy, according to the prophecies previously made concerning you, that by them you may wage the good warfare,”

In this life, whether you are a Christian or not, it takes believing in yourself to get anything done. The difference is that the non-Christian believes in what they naturally amount to, but the Christian believes in who and what Christ is, he sees himself in Christ. He has looked into the mirror of the word and seen his very own reflection in that mirror, and that reflection is Christ. He knows it is Christ who lives in him, and the life he lives now he lives by the faith of the son of God. He acknowledges the good things in him in Christ. He is awake to the truth that as Jesus is so is he in this world. He is living the reality of God through faith.

The Christian's God is working in him both "to will" and "to do" as God is willing and doing. As Jesus says he sees what his Father is doing and does it, hears what He is saying and says the same thing. He does not worship a distant god, his God is alive and living inside of him, and he is walking together as one with God. He has confidence in who and what Christ is in him. God has opened his eyes to know what the hope of God's calling is; CHRIST IN HIM! That is the self he knows.

God is your hiding place, in Him you live and move and have your being. Expect ONLY what is present in God, think them only, speak them only, anything else is to be cast down. God is good! So you know what those things in God are, for in Him there is no evil. Oppression and evil are far from you. Acknowledge the good things in you in Christ.
You are the first and not the last. You are above not below. You have overcome them not a victim. You are a winner not a failure. You are a blessing not a liability. You know what to do not confused. There is absolutely nothing bad or evil about you, you are fearfully and wonderfully made.

God is taking us on a lifelong journey of discovering and walking in who and what He is for us. Being that He has changed us totally to Himself in Christ, He is now opening our eyes to see and realise the riches of the glory of His inheritance in us, and we are rising up in faith to be all that He has made us.
