🌺Short Story of the Day:🌺
"The Story of the Butterfly"
A man found a cocoon of a butterfly.
One day a small opening appeared.
He sat and watched the butterfly for several hours
as it struggled to squeeze its body through the tiny hole.
Then it stopped, as if it couldn't go further.

So the man decided to help the butterfly.
He took a pair of scissors and
snipped off the remaining bits of cocoon.
The butterfly emerged easily but
it had a swollen body and shriveled wings.

The man continued to watch it,
expecting that any minute the wings would enlarge
and expand enough to support the body,
Neither happened!
In fact the butterfly spent the rest of its life
crawling around.
It was never able to fly.

What the man in his kindness
and haste did not understand:
The restricting cocoon and the struggle
required by the butterfly to get through the opening
was a way of forcing the fluid from the body
into the wings so that it would be ready
for flight once that was achieved.

The moral of the story "The Story of the Butterfly" is that struggles and challenges are necessary for growth and development. Without obstacles to overcome, we would not be as strong or resilient as we could be. It is important to embrace the struggles we face, as they help us to become better versions of ourselves.

Short Story of the Day:
🌺How the Poor Live🌺
One day, a father of a very wealthy family took his son on a trip to the country with the firm purpose of showing his son how poor people live. They spent a couple of days and nights on the farm of what would be considered a very poor family. On their return from their trip, the father asked his son, “How was the trip?”

“It was great, Dad.”

“Did you see how poor people live?” the father asked.

“Oh yeah,” said the son.

“So, tell me, what did you learn from the trip?” asked the father.

The son answered, “I saw that we have one dog and they had four. We have a pool that reaches to the middle of our garden, and they have a creek that has no end. We have imported lanterns in our garden, and they have the stars at night. Our patio reaches to the front yard, and they have the whole horizon. We have a small piece of land to live on, and they have fields that go beyond our sight. We have servants who serve us, but they serve others. We buy our food, but they grow theirs. We have walls around our property to protect us; they have friends to protect them.”

The boy’s father was speechless.

Then his son added, “Thanks, Dad, for showing me how poor we are.”

The moral lesson from the story "How the Poor Live" is that wealth is not just measured by material possessions, but also by the richness of our experiences and relationships. The son in the story was able to appreciate the simple pleasures of life that the poor family had, such as the beauty of nature and the warmth of friendship. He realized that true wealth lies in the things that money cannot buy, such as love, kindness, and compassion. This story teaches us to be grateful for what we have, to appreciate the simple things in life, and to value our relationships with others. It also reminds us that we should not judge people based on their material possessions, but rather on their character and the richness of their experiences.

"The Boy and the Backyard Fence".
*Short Moral Story Must Read*

Once there was a young boy who struggled with controlling his anger. Whenever he was upset, he would say hurtful things without thinking about the consequences.

One day, his father gave him a hammer and a bundle of nails and told him to hammer a nail into the backyard fence every time he got angry. In the beginning, the boy used up many nails, but over time he learned to control his anger and used fewer nails.

Eventually, his father asked him to remove a nail from the fence for each day he didn't lose his temper. When the boy removed the last nail, his father pointed out the holes in the fence and explained that the damage caused by his anger was like the scars left by hurtful words.

Moral : The moral of this story is that our words can have a lasting impact on others, just like the holes in the fence. It is important to think before we speak and control our anger, so we don't leave scars on the people we care about. We should treat others with kindness and respect, and be mindful of the impact our words and actions can have on others.

'Walk Away' from people who deliberately put you down.
'Walk Away' from any thought that reduces your worth.
'Walk Away' from failures and fears that stifle your dreams.
The more you 'Walk Away' from things that poison your soul, the happier your life would be.
