LAGOS EXAMS BOARD BEGINS THE SALE OF FORMS INTO THE STATE MODEL COLLEGES AND UPGRADED JUNIOR SECONDARY SCHOOLS FOR 2020 / 2021 ACADEMIC SESSION: The Lagos State Examinations Board hereby informs the general public especially Parents / Guardians, Headteachers and Proprietor / Proprietresses that Screening Test for admission of Primary Six Pupils into the 16 Model Colleges and Upgraded Junior Secondary Schools with boarding facilities is on sale now. The registration started on Monday, 13th January, 2020 and it will end on Friday, 30th April, 2020. The Registration Fee is #10,000 per candidate. The Late Registration will commence from Monday, 4th to 15th May, 2020 which would attract a fine of #5,000 to make it #15,000 per candidate. The Prospect Candidates are to collect PAYMENT INVOICE from ACCOUNTS DEPARTMENT OF THE BOARD. Proceed to make payment at any of the approved designated banks. Then a copy of Bank Teller showing Payment should be returned to Accounts Department of the Board for VALIDATION OF PAYMENT and ISSUANCE OF OFFICIAL RECEIPT. The Screening Test is based on Computer Based Testing (CBT) Version which will hold on 25th - 28th May, 2020 @ ICT ROOM of the Board while the Paper Pencil Testing (PPT) Version is slated to hold on Saturday, 30th May, 2020 @ 43 designated centres across the state. Please note that only Primary Six Pupils between ages 10 and 11 as at June, 2020 will be eligible to participate in the Test. Therefore, any candidate that passes the Test and meets the required cut- - off marks could be offered admission into any of the 16 Model Colleges and Upgraded Junior Secondary Schools in the state irrespective of his / her first or second choice of schools. In view of this, the SCREENING TEST is the ONLY yardstick for admission of Pupils into JSS One in any of the Model Colleges and Upgraded Junior Secondary Schools.

He asked candidates to disregard the use of NIN for the 2020 registration and strictly comply with other procedures for the registration. He however said that JAMB will consider the use of NIMC for 2021 exams.

JAMB Registration of prospective candidates for the 2020 UTME & DE starts on 13th January 2020 to last for 5wks ending 17th February 2020. Fees remain #3,500. Service Charge for registration is #700. Prospective candidates should ensure that they register and obtain their National Identity Number from NIMC as the number is mandatory for all candidates . Candidates without the number cannot register with JAMB for admissions.

UTME holds 14th March 2020 - 4th April 2020
Mock Exam holds 2nd March 2020.
