"In my first year as an Education Officer and a Teach for Nigeria Fellow, Tuesdays and Thursdays were bad and sad days for me.
Why?
I was going to teach two tough classes on the said days.
These classes were highly populated, and oh! we had quite a stubborn few, not to say so much...
I literally lost my voice before the end of school hours on those days.
It went on for a term before I could get my grip. I had to find a way to get their full attention before I won them over.

Effective classroom management is the foundation of a successful learning environment. It’s not just about maintaining discipline but creating a space where students feel respected, motivated, and ready to learn.
This holiday is another time to reflect and re-strategize as teachers and pour out the best of us into these students."
