Igbobi College crowned Champions of High School Quiz 2025!!!
It was a proud moment at Igbobi College on Tuesday, 30th September 2025, as the TheSTEMAfrica Initiative, led by Founder Oladapo Ojo and Consultant Dr Ore Sofekun, presented the ₦1,000,000 cash prize, gold trophy, and certificates of participation to the school as winners of the CHAMP High School Quiz 2025.
The ceremony was witnessed by the school’s entire community, from Principal Rev. Adedotun Akanbi and PTA Chairman Dr Abiodun Makinde to teachers, students, and special guests. Official sponsors, the Nigerian Exchange Group (NGX), represented by Mr Abimbola Babalola, head of Trading and Products, and the Bank of Industry (BOI), represented by Mrs Aisha Maibe-Bello, the External Relations Team Lead, were also in attendance. The Bishop of Ikeja Diocese, Rt. Rev. (Prof.) S.T.V. Adegbite, ably represented by Very Rev. Tola Olugbensan, lent his blessings to the celebration.
CHAMP, a TheSTEMAfrica Initiative, is designed to celebrate the legacy of Nigeria’s pre-independence schools while inspiring future leaders.
Congratulations once again to Igbobi College for raising the bar of academic excellence!

From 1,548 undergraduates who registered across the country, only the best 48 made it to the University Duel Season 2 stage, representing 16 top universities in a high-stakes battle of speed, accuracy, and brilliance.

The competition kicks off February 2026.
