At Grofield School, we care about the overall well-being of our pupils, including their oral hygiene.
Oral health practice is the habit of keeping one's mouth clean & free from diseases & other problems by regular cleaning and dental visits for routine check-up.
Here, our pupils' oral health are being examined by the dentist at our School. They were also taught how to brush their teeth properly to prevent tooth decay.

CHILD'S UPBRINGING MATTERS
The Word of God says, "Train up a child in the way that he should go and when he is old, he will not depart from it" - Prov. 22:6
As you lay your bed, so you lie on it. You can always predict what a child would be later in life from the level of discipline & training accorded to him/her.
When a child is well-brought up right from infancy, you can be sure, that family will be proud of him/her when he/she grows up and enjoy peace.
You cannot sow yam and expect to reap cassava. And a lot depends on the parents here, especially the mothers. That is the simple truth!
Unfortunately, so many teens and teenagers are drifting into juvenile delinquency, rebellion & immoral behaviours due to the nonchalant attitude of some parents in raising their children properly. Your guess is as good as mine as to the overall effect of this calamity on our society.
It is not the number of children that matters but how much values have been deposited in them in terms of:
- moulding their character
- inculcating good attitudes and moral standards in them
- giving them quality education
- exposing them to the knowledge of God's word
- providing parental guidance & support
- consistently counseling them
- showing them good examples e.t.c.
When you do these, you can be rest assured that when you are gone, your children will hold forth and keep you proud. Family standards will be preserved!
Remember, the best time to give children your full attention is when they are just growing up & flexible. Once they are already formed, there is little or nothing you can do anymore to change them.
Also, please note that showing them love does not mean spoiling them. Be firm with them, yet be loving. Better to correct them now than to regret later!
May God bless all parents with the wisdom & understanding on how to nurture their children to become great adults & sources of pride to their families & the world at large.
