We have commenced the second-phase of Jobs Initiative Lagos - JIL with registration of final year students of Lagos State University (LASU) and Lagos State College of Medicine (LASUCOM). This programme that is sponsored by Lagos State government through the Office Of The Special Adviser On Education, Lagos State is meant to prepare penultimate and final year students of the tertiary institutions across Lagos State for the job market as they join the Labour Market.
Through this project, beneficiaries will be trained in these core learning areas namely:
* Business Creation & Administration,
* Market Research & Exploration,
* Financial Management,
* Sales & Marketing,
* Corporate Email Drafting,
* Resume Writing,
* Presentation & Pitching,
* Microsoft Tools,
* Business Etiquette & Professional Conduct in the Workplace, and
* Entrepreneurship which will provide students with the soft and entrepreneurial edge required to thrive in the workplace – taking into cognizance the future of work.

There are three tracks to the Digital Skills Initiative Lagos; the Graduates and Out-of-school; the Undergraduates and Secondary school (In-School-Students); and the Primary School pupils.
These categories of young Lagosians will be taken through different classes which will allow them gain knowledge, skills, and know-how to compete in the future Job Market with digital skills.
The target is to empower more than 1million youths in Lagos State by 2023.

The second and final ReadySetWork 4.0 CBT test took place at LASU and LASPOTECH earlier today Saturday the hours of 9:00 a.m and 12.00 noon.
The Students of LASUCON converged at LASU while Caleb University students converged at LASPOTECH.

Dear Ready Set Work Students,
The second and final Ready Set Work CBT takes place at LASU and LASPOTECH this Saturday, 25th January, 2020.
Students of the LASU Campus centre should converge at the CBT centre at 8.00 a.m where the registration desk will be placed and attendance taken.
For Laspotech Students, the CBT takes place at the ICT centre simultaneously.
The CBT kicks off at 9.00am at both centres. Thank you.
