ACI’s 3rd Maximising African Port Capacity conference will address the key challenges faced by African ports and their stakeholders when faced with operational change and site expansion. This platform focuses on highlighting the key commercial opportunities available across the continent, creating and developing new PPI’s. This includes issues in infrastructure, access, hinterland, storage, traini

ng and regional regulation and law. Hear case studies of how project leaders have faced and overcome these challenges and the corresponding benefits of completing projects successfully. This highly focused meeting takes place on the 6th and 7th of August, 2014 in Cape Town, South Africa. We have gathered together senior management from within the industry: Port Authorities, Port & Terminal Operators, Project Developers & Construction Specialists, as well as Regional Government & Regulators. We want to provide a comprehensive and thorough review of current business opportunities in African ports. On the 5th August, a group will be escorted around the Transnet container terminal and will have he opportunity to be updated on the latest advancements and innovations in one of the continent’s leading terminal operations. Spaces are limited and are a first come, first serve basis. In addition, join us in Lagos to hear essential updates in issues of security, safety and quality, and global trade patterns so as to ensure that any developmental projects are refined to cope with the modern challenges the industry currently faces.
