Pastor Ezekiel, a Kenyan pastor, has stirred conversation after revealing in a church sermon that his daughter came out as a le***an while in high school.

He said the revelation deeply affected him as a father, prompting him to seek guidance through prayer and spiritual counsel. Rather than turning away from her, he chose to support her throughout the experience.

I’ve been reflecting on Pastor Ezekiel’s testimony — that his daughter came out as a le***an while in high school, and that it broke him as a father. Instead of rejecting her, he chose prayer, counsel, and to stay present with her.

From an African standpoint,

In many of our homes, ubuntusays, “I am because we are.” Family is covenant. When storms hit, African culture doesn’t abandon its own. You fight for your child, not against them. Silence, shame, and cutting off is not our highest tradition.

From a Christian standpoint,

The Bible is clear that God’s design for sexuality is within marriage between a man and woman (Genesis 2:24). At the same time, the Bible is equally clear: “While we were still sinners, Christ died for us” Romans 5:8. Jesus never told broken people “go away first, then come back.” He said, “Come to me…” (Matt 11:28).

So what do we do in such situations?

⚡ Tell the truth in love (Eph 4:15)

We don’t call sin righteousness, but we also don’t call people “outcasts.” It's important to be honest and seek help.

⚡ Keep the door open

Pastor Ezekiel modeled a father who prays first, listens, and does not sever relationship. That’s Christ-like. Many parents will send their daughter packing into the wild. This won't help the child.

⚡ Trust God with outcomes

We are responsible for faithfulness, not for forcing change. Only the Spirit transforms. That's why Evangelism is defined as sharing Christ in the power of the Holy Spirit and leaving the results to God.

To parents reading this;

You can hold Scripture and hold your child. You can grieve, pray, counsel, and still love fiercely.

To children: Your father’s love is not God’s approval of every choice. But it may be God’s invitation back to the table.

“To the law and to the testimony!” Isaiah 8:20

Let’s measure every response by Scripture, and every relationship by grace.

High Commission for General Intervention: The Prefect of Mefou and Afamba rules in favor of Billy Jimmy Fokun's team

July 1, 2026

The case concerning the High Commission for General Intervention (HACIG) has taken a new administrative turn. By a prefectoral decree signed on March 25, 2026, the prefect of the Mefou-et-Afamba department revoked the amended receipt previously issued to Abesso Zambo Edgard, a decision that comes after several consultation meetings organized by the administration.

According to information released by the HACIG, the prefectural authorities examined the administrative documents submitted by the various parties involved in order to shed light on the organization's situation. These consultations aimed to verify the legality of administrative acts, minutes, resolutions, and all supporting documents related to the institution's management.

According to the High Commission, three main actors were involved in this procedure: General Jimmy Billy Fokum, current High Commissioner General, Abesso Zambo Edgard, former head of the organization, as well as Paul Choungwi, former regional delegate of HACIG for the West.

HACIG asserts that General Jimmy Billy Fokum attended each meeting with all the documents requested by the administration, including minutes, activity reports, internal decisions and administrative correspondence tracing the institution's activities since his election in 2022. According to this version, these documents were intended to demonstrate the continuity of the organization's operation as well as its relations with public administrations and its partners.

The document also indicates that the other parties failed to provide all the supporting documents requested by the prefecture, including minutes and other administrative acts to substantiate their respective claims. It is further alleged that Abesso Zambo Edgard did not personally attend the meetings convened by the administrative authority.

Following this procedure, the Prefect of Mefou-et-Afamba signed Prefectural Order No. 000298/AP/J05/SAAJP, withdrawing the amended receipt previously granted to Abesso Zambo Edgard. According to HACIG, this decision eliminates the administrative basis for certain competing claims regarding the organization's leadership.

The High Commission maintains that this decision reinforces the legitimacy of General Jimmy Billy Fokum, elected at the 2022 General Assembly in Bafoussam. The institution asserts that it has since adopted a governance model focused on administrative transparency, the preservation of archives, the regular production of activity reports, and adherence to the association's governing statutes.

HACIG also highlights field missions, awareness campaigns, humanitarian actions and partnerships developed over the years as evidence of the continuity of its activities.

In conclusion, the organization believes this case underscores the importance of document traceability and compliance with legal provisions in the management of associations. It reaffirms its confidence in the institutions of the Republic, the administrative authorities, and the Cameroonian justice system, while maintaining that administrative documents remain the primary means of establishing the regularity of its operations.

Congratulations General Jimmy
Congratulations HACIG

Gospel Artist, Singer & Song Writer Joins Trending Church Conversation:

Please stop, just stop it already. A supposed pastor practicing witchcraft is not a fall. He wanted money, he decided not to work or invest in a business but chose to go to a witch doctor and get a charm that would give him money; that is not a pastor falling. That is God exposing a wolf, an angel of darkness who has been disguising as an angel of light. Yet you choose to speak for this wickedness, you choose to side with a warlock who has been misleading the very souls that Jesus Christ died to save. Ohhhhhh shame on you, shame on you.

After seeing what happened, after hearing about this story, you didn’t think about the souls who went to his church because they had a genuine desire to seek God, you didn’t even think about the fact that Jesus Christ died a very brutal death to save our souls from the very destruction that this man is leading souls into, no, you didn’t think that God allowed this exposure so that maybe the man could be brought to a place of godly sorrow which may lead to the salvation of his own soul. Nooooo, you are interested in protecting the image of the Church, you say? Which image if I may ask? Do you leave a limb that has developed gangrene attached to the body or do you cut off the limb to prevent the gangrene from spreading and killing other parts of the body?

How did we get to the point where we think that defending witchcraft would benefit the Church of God and save face for the Gospel of Jesus Christ? Wandas. Abeg wuna, stoppam!

Cameroon is grieving again.

Between yesterday and today, two stories broke my heart and exposed a deeper crisis in our nation: the abuse of spiritual authority.

In Yaoundé, an 11-year-old child was killed. Reports claim the act was carried out “as ordered by a prophet.”

In K*mba, allegations are spreading that a pastor stabbed his girlfriend to death. While police confirmation is still pending, the rumor alone has triggered fear and anger across the Southwest.

These are not isolated cases. They are symptoms.

This is exactly what I and co-panelists addressed in during our discussion on Media Prime TV this weekend: “Every doctrine must be examined through Scripture”.

Isaiah 8:20 says: “To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them.”_

When a “prophet” can allegedly order the death of an 11-year-old, we must ask: Does Scripture teach this? When a pastor allegedly raises a knife against his girlfriend, we must ask: Did Jesus model this?

The answer is no.

Jesus never practiced violence for personal matters. Judas was stealing from the treasury (John 12:6), yet Jesus never ordered violence or “miracle justice”.

The apostles never commanded murder. The book of Acts records healings, deliverances, prophecy… but nowhere “angelic murder orders” or “pulpit killings”.

God provides through work, not bloodshed. “By the sweat of thy face shalt thou eat bread” (Genesis 3:19). “If any would not work, neither should he eat” (2 Thess 3:10).

I say again,

The government has to create a ministry of religious affairs to deal with these issues accordingly.

😭😭😭
