This is your sign to be consistent with your skincare this year. Stop being miserly with your skincare products because you don’t want them to finish quickly. just use them well so they work as they’re supposed to. If they finish and you can’t buy another immediately, so be it. You can continue using the basic cleanser and moisturiser till you are able to get more, but it is advisable to use products you can afford to restock always sha. Shalom 💗

If my life likes, let it be going to pieces, I’m not stepping outside without wearing sunscreen, and I’m sure I’m not the only one😂😂 Sunscreen is the most important step in my morning skincare routine for preventing hyperpigmentation, fine lines, and sun damage.

I wear sunscreen every single morning, whether I’m going to work or just stepping out for 10 minutes on the weekend to pick something up. Even before makeup.

Not because it’s trendy.
But because it is the one product that truly protects everything else I’m doing for my skin. Please wear your sunscreen always 🥺

I fell in love with korean actor lee min ho from his drama City Hunter in 2012, and really wanted to tell him how much I loved him and his acting. However I learned from his fan community on Twitter that his English wasn’t good, so I decided to learn a few korean words so I could at least tell him hello, I love your dramas, can I call you oppa, and can I take a picture?

Little did I know that that simple wish was going to explode into something I never imagined. First I won Best Korean speaker in Nigeria 2020 by KCCN’s Sejong Institute, then went on to become a Korean Teacher, Interpreter, Influencer, and unbelievably, employee of a Korean Government Agency in Lagos Nigeria, working as a Business Development Officer supporting bilateral trade relations and interpreting meetings…

Each time I think about the steps I took and the mocking I had to endure because people called me foolish, I’m filled with gratitude and pride for being true to myself always.

I hope anyone who reads this finds the courage to remain true to themselves and steadfast in their endeavours. I hope besides not minding people, that you actually discipline yourself and focus on what’s important to you, whether it’s learning Korean for BTS or learning French for Mbappe. It doesn’t matter. Please focus 🧘🏽‍♀️

Have you ever tried making Korean food with a mixture of Nigerian ingredients? I do it a lot and this time, it’s tteokbokki that suffered in my hands. It slapped though… I wonder if anyone would be willing to try it?🥹🤭🤣
