Saw these pictures and they made my heart tingle. Delectable actress Iretiola Doyle celebrated her 50th birthday recently and part of the activities lined up for her big celebration was her visit to our great school M.G.H.S Yaba.

The OGA meeting went well, the turn out wasn't really impressive but a lot of things were discussed about the 135th anniversary and general issues about the school. There will be another meeting on the 17th of this month to plan properly because we have just August and September and would be nice to have more people around. The anniversary which is a week long event will start on the 20th of October to the 27th of thensame month. Will keep you all posted.
Happy new month!!! May this month be far better than the previous months in 2014! Lets not forget the OGA meeting taking place at the school premises tomorrow. So if you are in Lagos, please endeavour to come around. Ciao

We thank God for seeing us through these past months. There will be a meeting holding this coming Sunday 3rd of August, 2014 in the school hall @ Yaba, Lagos by 2pm. MGHS is 135 this year and we the old girls will be pioneering some aspect of the event. At the last meeting ,four committees were chosen. The committee comprises of ;the fundraising, publicity, program and protocol & logistics. For these groups to function properly we need more hands.... We are all invited to join any of the groups. It will be a refreshing time together. pls be there irrespective of your set. God bless you as you tell others.

Former First lady of Lagos state and an Old girl of the School; Mrs Foluke Asani Mudasiru died few weeks back. Met her a couple of times when she was alive and was an amazing woman. May her soul Rest In Peace.

Was meant to post these pics a long time ago. They were taken during the class of 2009's reunion last year. Out of the ova 70 graduating students, only about 20 were around which wasn't a good turnout. Lets make ourselves available for things like this. Other sets should also make time for reunions too. It's fun and brings back good memories. Thanks
