🎓 *Farewell Speech – Outgoing Pupil of King’s Breed Academy*
Good day, everyone.
My name is Miracle Abba, and I have had the incredible privilege of being one of the Outgoing pupil of King’s Breed Academy.
Standing here today, I feel a mixture of joy and emotion. Joy, because we made it — through lessons, assignments, projects, competitions, and even assemblies. Emotion, because I know that today marks the end of a chapter that shaped me into who I am becoming.
Being a student here wasn’t just about learning to read, write, or solve math problems. It was about learning to lead, to speak up, to care for others, and most importantly, to reflect Christ in all that I do. I have learned what it means to be a godly leader — to serve, to listen, and to be an example, even when no one is watching.
To our teachers, thank you for believing in us, for challenging us, and for loving us even when we made your job harder. You’ve not just taught us from textbooks — you’ve taught us from your hearts.
To our parents, thank you for the sacrifices you make daily. This school exists because of your commitment and your prayers.
To my fellow pupils and friends, I want to say: never stop dreaming. It doesn’t matter where you are from — you can be anything, by God’s grace. Keep your heads high. Stay kind. Keep learning.
To the incoming prefects, wear this badge with humility and pride. It’s more than a title; it’s a responsibility and a calling.
Finally, to my beloved King’s Breed Academy, thank you for raising me right. You’ve taught me to dream boldly, speak clearly, love deeply, and lead courageously.
As I step into the next phase of my journey, I take with me everything you have poured into me. And I promise, by God’s grace, I will make you proud.
Thank you all, and God bless you.

Dear KING'S BREED ACADEMY Parents/Prospects,
We recently came across a post from a teachers’ WhatsApp group that we believe is worth reflecting on together as parents and guardians.
The post described a 9-year-old Primary 5 child who:
Does not do homework
Does not read or revise his work
Copies incorrectly from the board
Shows poor academic habits
Doesn’t study for tests
Constantly sucks his tongue during lessons
Although this child is not from our school, situations like this are not uncommon — and they remind us that education is a shared responsibility between home and school.
Here’s what we’d love to emphasize:
Homework is a bridge between school and home. When a child brings homework, it’s an opportunity for parents to reinforce learning, monitor progress, and show that schoolwork matters.
Studying for tests requires support. Children need structure, encouragement, and sometimes a gentle push to develop consistent reading habits.
Behavioral habits can indicate deeper needs. For example, consistent tongue sucking, poor focus, or resistance to schoolwork may be signs of anxiety, emotional stress, or even a learning disability. Parents must not live in denial. If there are persistent signs, it’s important to seek a proper learning disability assessment so that any challenges can be addressed early and effectively.
At KING'S BREED ACADEMY, we are deeply committed to your child’s growth — but we cannot do it alone. With your active support at home and our dedication at school, we can raise children who are confident, capable, and well-prepared.
Let’s keep working hand in hand to raise excellent children.
