Akintunde Adelana, FIMC, FCIPS is Director - Monitoring & Evaluation at the Nigerian Content Development and Monitoring Board (NCDMB). His rich history of working in the oil & energy industry started when he joined Shell Petroleum Development Company Nigeria Limited in 1988 as Head, Logistics Scheduling and later took up the role of Buyer/Stock Analyst with focus on Contracting and procurement support. He became Lead for Procurement in Lagos in March 2003, and was promoted to Head, Procurement, Lagos for SHELL NIGERIA EXPLORATION AND PRODUCTION COMPANY LIMITED (SNEPCo) Nigeria. He went on secondment to Shell UK as Requisition to Pay Specialist/Consultant in Aberdeen, Scotland.

He is a Fellow of the CIPS - The Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply UK.
