Today I'll be sharing Funfetti cake recipe using Zintan's treats rainbow sprinkles.
Please try out the recipe and let me know how it went.

Funfetti cake recipe for a double layered 9 inch cake

Ingredients:
400 grams all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
250 grams butter, melted
300 grams sugar
50 grams brown sugar
2 large eggs
120ml vanilla yoghurt or buttermilk
250ml milk
1 Tablespoon (15ml) vanilla extract
2 bottles of Zintan's treats rainbow sprinkles

Method

1. To make buttermilk, add 2 tablespoons of white vinegar to 120ml of milk. Stir and set aside. You'll notice the mixture starts to curdle. This is your buttermilk for this recipe.

2. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F and butter/ spray your 9 inch baking pans

3. In a medium bowl mix the flour, salt, baking powder and baking soda and set aside.

4. In another bowl pour your melted butter and add the sugars. Whisk in the sugars vigorously to prevent any brown sugar lumps. The mixture will be gritty at this stage

5. Whisk in the eggs, buttermilk and milk, and vanilla extract. Whisk till well combined

6. Whisk in the flour mixture. The mixture will be thick. Mix till well combined

7. Stir in the Zintan's treats sprinkle but don't over stir so the sprinkles don't bleed their colour

8. Spoon batter into pans and bake for 30 mins of until a skewer put in the center comes out clean.

9. Turn out of pan when it pulls away from the side of the pan and then let it cool completely

10. Decorate with butter icing or whipped cream and of course more Sprinkles!!!
