Practical Life Activity

Transferring of Rice from one identical jug to another.

Age: 1year Upward.

Materials: 2 Bowls, a spoon and a tray.

Note: always invite the child to the work space.

Try this activity with your child that is struggling to write. Working with this activity repeatedly helps to develop the child's pincer grip for holding a pencil.

Making beautiful connection with my baby.

See her level of concentration.

Your child is disturbing and can't sit still because you do not know how to engage your child.

Instead of making beautiful connections with your child, you hand over an ipad and allow them to watch the screen to keep them engage.

Early introduction of screen is really damaging their brains.

Parents create time for your child/children.

Time is the most precious gift you can give to your child.

I had a conversations with some Montessori Experts on how they can engage their children without the screen.

Broad Stairs Presentation.
Step 1. Directress invite the child to the shelf.
Step 2. Show the child how to carry the material to the floor mat.
Step 3. Directress allow the child to take turn.
Step 4. She show the child how to arrange the stair from the biggest to the smallest.

The Broad Stairs, also known as the Brown Stair, consist of ten wooden prisms all the same length (20 cm) but increasing in height and width from 1 cm to 10 cm. They are arranged from the smallest to the largest, forming a stair-like structure.

Helps the child refine their sense of visual perception, especially in recognizing and comparing differences in thickness and dimension (width and height).

One of our Educators that registered for Early years Montessori foundation course got a job in a full Montessori school in Ikeja Lagos Nigeria.

The school director called me to confirm my training center.

She said my student interview session was outstanding and she was so impressed by her performance.

We train our students to be job ready..
We would walk you through skills needed to succeed in the work place.
