These were a few of the Conference’s recommendation (SWIPE 👆) which was to be adopted as Nigeria’s new constitution in October 1998, the year Abacha had announced was to be Nigeria’s return to Civilian rule.
But Alas, Abacha died on the 8th of June 1998 cutting short the plans that was never sustained. And now, I cant help but wonder if the adoption of these recommendations would have made a significant change in the history and economics of Nigeria.
