YOU HAVE THE MANDATE
Let me first appreciate your efforts so far. In this new month, grace and mercy will speak for you in every area of your life.
As members of this progressive forum, you have been given the mandate to pass ICAN — and you must make full use of that mandate.
Hear this:
Zechariah 4:7
"Who art thou, O great mountain, before Zerubbabel? Thou shalt become a plain: and he shall bring forth the headstone thereof with shoutings, crying, Grace, grace unto it."
That “great mountain” is the ICAN examination, and Excellent Professional Touch Students are the Zerubbabel of this generation. By the help of God, every obstacle before you shall become plain.
However, you must rise against the enemies of grace and success. These enemies are twin sisters — laziness and fear.
Laziness will never allow a student to put in the diligence required for success.
Proverbs 22:13 says:
"The slothful man saith, There is a lion without, I shall be slain in the streets."
Many of you have conquered laziness, while some are still battling with it. You must overcome it completely.
More importantly, you must tame the enemy called fear. The fear of the unknown has delayed or destroyed the progress of many destinies.
Let me say this in my mother’s tongue:
"Ẹni eégún lè kó má rọ̀jù, bó ṣe ń rẹ ará-ayé ló ń rẹ ara-ọ̀run."
Meaning: What you are afraid of is also afraid of you.
Just as David ran toward Goliath, I urge you to confront this examination with confidence, boldness, and a winning mindset. Stop doubting yourself. Stop postponing your greatness.
