DAY 3 FINAL UPDATE: A Glorious Conclusion to our Week of Prayers.

Dear Parents and Guardians,

Today marked the powerful conclusion of our Week of Prayers at Triple Crown College. It has been a transformative three days, and we are confident that the seeds sown in the lives of our students will yield a great harvest.

For our grand finale, we were privileged to host Pastor Badru from the Association of Visiting Secretaries of The Apostolic Faith Church. Drawing from Joshua 1:6–7 and Psalm 127:3–4, he delivered a stirring message on the necessity of turning totally to God to achieve true success. He further strengthened the students' faith by sharing a personal testimony of how God’s hand saved him from an unforeseen danger.

Our Director, Mrs. Awolaja, rounded off the week by teaching the students the "Secret to True Happiness" using Psalm 1:1–6. She emphasized three core pillars for their daily lives based on Philippians 4:6 and Psalm 119:9:
* A Thankful Heart: Approaching God with gratitude in all things.
* Purity of Life: Keeping their way pure by living according to the Word.
* The Power of Praise: Ending the session with Psalm 107, declaring that "His love is eternal."

The week concluded with a joyful session of thanksgiving hymns and songs.

It is our earnest prayer that our collective efforts to raise these children as great ambassadors of their generation will be richly blessed.

We celebrate World Teachers' Day. Great Teachers,

Today, we celebrate World Teachers' Day under the theme "Recasting Teaching as a Collaborative Profession." This theme chosen for 2025 teachers day, resonates deeply, as we recognize the evolving landscape of education and the critical role teachers play in shaping the minds of future generations.

For too long, teaching has been perceived as a solitary profession. Teachers often work in isolation, planning lessons, grading papers, and managing classrooms with minimal support or collaboration.

However, we know that this approach is no longer sufficient. The complexities of modern education demand a more collaborative approach. Teachers must work together, share ideas, and learn from each other to provide the best possible education for their students.

Recasting teaching as a collaborative profession requires a fundamental shift in mindset. It requires teachers to be open to new ideas, willing to take risks, and committed to ongoing professional development.

It also requires schools and education systems to create an environment that fosters collaboration, provide resources and support, and encourage innovation.

By working together, we can:

- Improve student outcomes
- Enhance teacher morale and job satisfaction
- Develop more effective and efficient teaching methods
- Stay ahead of the curve in a rapidly changing education landscape

So let us embrace this new vision for teaching. Let us work together to create a collaborative, supportive, and innovative education system that benefits all.
Let us be the best that we can be.
Let us use the opportunity of this year's teachers day to reflect on our individual roles as teachers. Are we getting it right? Are we inspiring the students under our care?
As we reflect on these and many more, I wish to encourage you and thank you for efforts so far.
On behalf of entire staff, I thank the Director of school, Mrs Awolaja Titilayo for her motherly guidance, care and love. Each year, she showers uswith vests and gifts. For this we are very grateful and pledge not to relent.
May the good Lord continue to bless all teachers.

Thank you.

Triple Crown College Celebrates 25 Years of Global Cultural Harmony.

In a vibrant celebration of unity, diversity, and tradition, Triple Crown College proudly marked its 25th Anniversary Cultural Day Celebration, transforming the college grounds into a lively mosaic of global heritage. This silver jubilee was not just a milestone — it was a tribute to the rich cultures that have shaped our international identity and educational journey.

Themed “Unity in Diversity: Honoring Our Heritage, Embracing the Future,” the event brought together students, staff, parents, alumni, and special guests to celebrate cultures from across the globe, with special highlights from China, India, Ghana, and South Africa.

Attendees were treated to dazzling displays of Chinese lion dances, elegant Indian classical performances, and the colorful energy of Ghanaian kente parades and South African gumboot dancing. Traditional cuisines from these regions delighted the senses — from spicy Indian curries and Chinese dumplings to Ghanaian jollof rice and South African bobotie. Each dish and dance reflected a story, a history, and a sense of belonging that resonated deeply throughout the day.

Cultural exhibitions, dramatic plays, poetry, and an international fashion parade brought students and staff together to showcase and celebrate their heritage with confidence and pride. The event also honored the school’s visionary founders and educators who have nurtured a learning environment that thrives on inclusion, respect, and excellence.

As Triple Crown College celebrates 25 years of academic achievement and cultural understanding, this year’s Cultural Day reaffirmed the power of diversity in shaping not only global citizens but compassionate leaders of tomorrow.

Here’s to 25 years of shared heritage, global friendship, and lifelong learning — and to an even brighter future ahead

Mind what you say to others. **

This is a story of my background ,
I went to a good secondary school in ketu where the fees were really expensive as far back as 2003 &2004. Most of my classmates were children of the rich and vips in the society,
so basically these my mates were really exposed to travelling and seeing places and things.

I came from a churchy background where we were restricted and weren’t really allowed to be kids , everyday is talks about religiously and bullying from church workers ,which my parent didn’t have an issue with.
So when I was a teenager about 13 &14, I joined the school dances, miming and general kid stuff that churchy children should not join. Well I had the time of my life in my secondary school. It was really the best place and still is Triple Crown College .

Relating with my classmates made me conscious of the fact that I was slim and will be good for modeling . mind you, they are exposed and know what they were saying. And flashing back they were right.

So I went with that mindset , I was slim , tall and had an oval face for a teenager, so I’ll be good for magazine models and stuff
so I nursed the idea in my head that when I go to uni, I’ll do modeling on the side. And when I got to uni I paid an agency to work with me to find gigs. (Debbie’s brainwork)

So in 2012 I was in uni in my second year and I wanted to go for the Lagos state beauty pageant , of course from a churchy background so I’ll have to go discretely that was the plan.
I had my registration fee and everything, the only issue was the many dresses which I had to bill my parent money for.
I had gone for two castings and was getting ready . For context it was a secret between my amazing sisters and two of my older neighbors who were like 6-9 years older. So one issue I needed to walk on was my dance and the questions I’ll answer on stage.
I needed new dance steps so I went to my neighbor and the older one was quite encouraging with the dance but was correcting a few things nicely. But her younger sister was really negative and was so sure I won’t make it in the pageant.

Though it seems she was playful about it but for a young uni student then, that was definitely not the energy I needed. And I didn’t inform any one of my uni friends because I didn’t want discouragement. So I just turned to my sisters but it wasn’t enough to push me to carry on. (Debbie’s brainwork)

So just due to the lady’s discouragement , I dropped out of the paegent and though I went for castings in 2013 but I never got the urge to carry on with modelling of any kind.
I believe the effect of her words was a tool to discourage teenager who would have loved to explore the world.
This is 2025 & I still don’t like modelling of any kind.

Every adult should mind their own effect their words could have on the younger generation.
Enough said. !

This is my story (Debbie’s brainwork)
