Quelu Educational Center is managed by Mrs. Margaret Anyigbo, a U.S trained Education USA Adviser who worked with the U.S. Consulate General Lagos for over 15 years.
Quelu Educational Center’s mission is to help students who are interested in studying in the United States do so successfully.
Quelu provides accurate, timely and comprehensive information to undergraduate and graduate students on educational opportunities in the United States. At our center, we organize one-on-one and group advisory sessions for parents and prospective students.
The U.S. Education system is unique. Students need help combing through over 4,000 higher institutions to find the right fit. There is actually a school for everybody! Our job is to help students navigate this process by researching the different options available, finding institutions that offer scholarships, guiding the completion and submission of well-prepared applications for admission. We can help students pay the application and SEVIS fees, apply and prepare for the student visa interview and organize a visa orientation session.
Before a student departs for the United States, we organize a pre-departure orientation so that students can hit the ground running on arrival. This session provides information that will help students settle-in well and prepare for the new experience they are about to embark on. Issues like cultural differences, differences in academic system, culture shock, changes that are totally different from the Nigerian environment and more will be discussed. We strongly believe that no student should arrive the United States unprepared.
