Two days ago, representatives from the African Edtech Conference committee, including members from NBCC and Edufirst such as Moses Imayi, CEO and founder of Edufirst; Dr. MacJohn Nwaobiala, Board Chairman of Edufirst and Former Permanent Secretary of the Federal Ministry of Education; Chinyere Emeruwa, Assistant General Manager of partnerships for Edufirst; Ehi, Finance Analyst for Edufirst; Kasha Iliya, Executive Secretary of NBCC Abuja, among others, visited The Executive Chairman of the Federal Inland Revenue Service (FIRS) in Abuja.
This meeting was part of ongoing discussions for the 6th Edition of the African Edtech Conference. It was a productive meeting, and we're pleased to note FIRS's enthusiasm about the impact and the role they plan to play at the conference.

Tertiary Education Trust Fund (TETFund) is a government agency on a mission to provide focused and transformative intervention in public tertiary institutions through funding and effective project management
In attendance was Chinyere Emeruwa, Assistant General Manager, Edufirst, Moses Imayi, CEO of Edufirst, kasha iliya, Executive seceretary of NBCC, and Ehi, member of Staff.
The 6th edition of the African Edtech Conference is scheduled to hold from October 29-31!

We had an enriching day today at the National Debate Competition organized by the Federal Ministry of Education!

Our delegation, including Moses Imayi, Chinyere Emeruwa, and Seyi Adeyemi, had the privilege of meeting with Aminu Maida, the Executive Vice President, along with other representatives and staff at the Nigerian Communication Commission (NCC).
Engaging in fruitful discussions, we explored potential collaborations to enhance education through technology at the upcoming African Edtech Conference.

Bringing our series of visits to an end, we had the pleasure of visiting the TY Danjuma Foundation, the philanthropic organisation that was established back in 2009 with the main aim of "improving the quality of life of Nigerians".
Founded by the retired Nigerian Army Chief of Staff and acute businessman, Lt. Gen. Theophilus Yakubu Danjuma, GCON, the foundation is dedicated to granting access to health care and providing educational opportunities.
Notably captured in the picture is Gima Forje, the CEO, and Nkechi Chukwuka, the Executive Assistant, TY Danjuma Foundation.

During our recent round of visits, our team had the privilege of meeting with representatives from the British High Commission. We engaged in discussions regarding the upcoming 6th edition of the African Edutech Conference, where digital innovative edutech solutions are discussed and a ground for partnerships is formed.
Present were Kasha Iliya, Executive Secretary of NBCC Abuja, and Ian Attfield, Senior Education Adviser from the High Commission. This meeting served as an opportunity to explore potential collaborations for the upcoming 6th edition of the African Edutech conference, to be held later this year in Abuja.

As part of our courtesy visits, our team visited the Mandate Secretary of Women Affairs (FCTA), Dr Adedayo Benjamins-Laniyi. We had the pleasure of discussing her works and projects in the Federal capital, and the possibilities of collaborations in the 6th edition of the African Edtech Conference.
We were warmly welcomed by the ministry, learning more about their mission that spans many sectors including girl-child education and capacity building for women, which closely aligns with our mission of fostering digital innovation in education among underserved communities.
The last edition had over 2000+ hybrid attendees and this visit served as the perfect medium for partnerships and collaborations.
