Having learnt the theories of evolution 2 weeks ago, my students couldn’t overlook the enormous contributions of Darwin towards providing answers to the origin of living organisms.

I remember that day in the class, I watched my students argue which was more correct; Larmack’s theory of use and disuse or Darwin’s theory of survival of the fittest. We also discussed the theory of divinity as well as the modern approach to evolution.

Just this morning, one of my students walked up to me and said “Sir, today is Darwin’s birthday”. 🥳 I was dazed for a couple of seconds as to the extent to which she researched Charles Darwin.

I told her to come up with “something” to mark his birthday as a student of Biology. A few hours later, she came up with a script. 📺 🎥
