Job Position:Executive Secretary, Operations

Job Summary
L4L requires a young, talented, enthusiastic and result oriented professional to:
• Develop and maintain good relationships with all L4L key stakeholders which include but are not limited to staff and volunteers; sponsors and donors; service partners and suppliers; and teachers and children.
• Provide expertise in a wide range of areas related to organisational management, financial guidance, strategic planning, operational management and administrative management.
• Contribute to the design and development of the structure of the organization.
Minimum Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in relevant discipline
• Minimum of two (2) years relevant NGO experience.
• Previous supervisory or managerial experience will be an added advantage;
Skill/Competency Requirements
• Proven NGO background with a solid record of successfully implementing projects, programs and initiatives in support of organizational objectives;
• Demonstrated ability to use superior interpersonal, communication, and influential skills to build strong collaborative, win-win relationships with key stakeholders;
• Strong time and project management skills that enable management of complex and (often) competing priorities within a challenging fast-paced environment undergoing large-scale transformational change;
• Strong interpersonal, negotiation and motivational skills;
• Good decision-making, delegation and supervisory abilities;
• Good oral and written communication skills;
• Proficiency in the use of Office productivity tools (especially Word, PowerPoint and Excel).
Principal Roles and Responsibilities
As our Executive Secretary, Operations, you will be required to
• Assist in the development of organizational goals and objectives and implementation of policies, Board0f Director’s Strategic Plan and ensuring on-going sustainability of the organization;
• Liaise efficiently with all stakeholders of the organisation;
• Oversee organizations finances and financial records to ensure compliance with all federal, state and applicable international laws and policies.
• Managing and ensure organisation’s positive public image.
