On Thursday, 29th of January 2026, the ULAPS Executive Council paid a courtesy visit to the Chief Medical Advisory Committee (CMAC) and the Deputy CMAC of Lagos University Teaching Hospital to express our appreciation for their continued support to the association.
The President, Abigail Okonji, formally introduced the executive members, followed by a presentation of gifts as a token of gratitude.
They warmly welcomed the Executive Council and commended the association for its initiative and engagement.
Key Advice and Highlights:
1. Uphold professional integrity: Avoid drugs and unethical practices; build your career on unity, love, and peace.
2. Differentiate needs from wants: Practice contentment to achieve long-term success.
3. Specialize for relevance: Go beyond general practice by developing a niche to remain competitive and financially stable.

🌟 Courtesy Visit to the Director of Administration, Lagos University Teaching Hospital.
On Tuesday, 27th of January 2026, the ULAPS Executive Council paid a courtesy visit to the Director of Administration to express our appreciation for her continued support to the association.
During the visit, the President, Abigail Okonji, formally introduced the executive members, followed by a presentation of gifts as a token of gratitude.
The DA warmly welcomed us and noted that we are the first ULAPS executive council to officially pay her a courtesy visit.
In response to a request for guidance from the General Secretary, David Ayeni, she shared invaluable words of advice centered on BALANCE— drawing from her personal experiences as a student. She emphasized the importance of prioritizing academics, reviewing one’s CGPA, and remaining intentional about personal growth.
