ULAPS FINAL CONGRESS: A MOMENT TO REMEMBER!✨

On Friday, 7th August 2026, ULAPSites gathered at the Oba Rilwan Akiolu Hall (500L Class) for the final Congress of the tenure.

It was a day of accountability, reflection and transition, as the Executive Council presented its final affairs, members of Congress sought clarification, and ULAPSites shared their contributions and reflections on the tenure.

The Congress also marked an important step forward for the Association with the adoption of the new ULAPS Constitution and the constitution of the Electoral Committee, setting the stage for the next chapter of ULAPS leadership.
With the formal dissolution of the Executive Council and House of Representatives, the Trailblazers 25/26 chapter came to a close.

To everyone who contributed, participated, questioned, supported and believed in this administration, thank you for being part of the journey. ❤️

One chapter ends.
The ULAPS legacy continues.

Some transformations don’t look dramatic until you know the work behind them. 📚✨

What seemed like “just arranging books” turned into eight hours of sorting, dusting, categorising, lifting, cleaning, labelling, and completely reorganising decades of knowledge.

On Saturday, 18th of July, from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM, our team worked tirelessly to give the ULAPS library a fresh start. Every book was handled with care, every section thoughtfully arranged, and clear library rules were added to help preserve this space for everyone who walks through its doors.
Although many of our colleagues couldn’t join us because of incourse tests and exams around the corner, we’re grateful to every volunteer who showed up and gave their time and energy.

The books have stood on these shelves since 1980, we did our part to help ensure they’ll still be here for generations of physiotherapy students to come.
This wasn’t just a makeover.
It was an investment in our department’s legacy.💖

Serving our community, one step at a time. 💖

On Saturday, 25th July, 2026, ULAPS in Partnership with the Indomitable Ladies organized an outreach at a community in Surulere.

From dance aerobics and stretching sessions to health screenings, physiotherapy consultations, and health education, the outreach was filled with movement, impact, and smiles.

Thank you to everyone who made our Free Medical Community Outreach a huge success. Together, we’re building a healthier community. 🌍❤️
